Its interesting the songs the radio plays nowadays. In the past, Pop was king. They played plenty of pop songs, boyband songs, etc etc. Then, Pop slowly fizzled out with the rise of R & B and Hip Hop. About a year ago, R & B and Hip Hop started becoming insanely popular. Every other song played on the radio was an R & B song. Then 3 out of 5 songs were R & B and Hip Hop songs. But recently, Pop songs are making a comback. I'm glad for it, cos i'm a BIG fan of Pop songs, especially ballads. But why the comeback? Why are the radios playing more Pop songs? Well, we have the Pop Idol series to thank. Or I, rather. Think about most the popular Pop singers nowadays...
