There is now a new Charlie company. Strangely enough, the letters of complaints seem to have united the 3 platoons. Early this week, we collectively decided to do everything the PTIs give us the fastest and best we can, to be encouraging to each other and shout louder than any company. Well... the encouraging part only lasted about half an hour, before people who sabo get scolded again, but the rest stayed. We yelled, we ran, we jumped. The PTI was surprised, considering Charlie was never this united before. The PTI asked us if we wanted tough training or easy. At first only half put up the hands for tough, then the rest followed. Seriously, if you're in the minority that said you wanted easy training, you're so going to get it in the bunk. So we got back our tough training for Charlie company! At the end of it, the PTI said that even though people complained, if we wanted tough training we would get it. He suggested wiping the slate clean, and starting anew. If anyone was not feeling well or couldn't take the training, he is welcome to sit it out, no questions asked.

Song bo. At the end of the week, 27 people disrupted from Charlie company.(meaning they passed their IPPT and get a 3 week break. people like me, who after 4 weeks still can't do a single pull-up, will probably stay all 7 weeks then continue with our 6 week BRT training). 27. less than 20 disrupted from Alpha, the same goes for Bravo. So officially, Charlie had the most number of fit people! Surprise, surprise! Charlie is good now. Power!

Are we little p******? Are we weak idiots just because we get easy training? Are you better than me just because you got tougher training? Sometimes when i talk to people, i get the feeling that they look down on me because i'm getting easy training. So you went through hell in BMT... just because i'm not going through as crazy a hell as you did does not mean i'm less of a man.

'Tough' training is relative. If you've gone though BMT donkey years ago, that'll be tough training to you. If you've gone though BMT 5 years ago, which is definitely less tough than BMT 20 years ago, that'll be tough training to you. If you, like me, are going through Civil Defence right now(i mean the training before the people complained), the training there will be tough to you. Why? Because you've never experienced something so physical before in your life, and have to push yourself to your physical limit. The people in BMT push themselves to their limit, as do the people in BRT. People faint in BMT, and people faint in BRT. Its just that those in BMT have their physical limits expanded faster than thsoe in BRT.

BMT training is tough, BRT training is also tough. Don't try to tell someone in CD that the training is easy, because it never is. Will i be able to handle it if i had been sent to BMT instead? i'm sure i would have. Why wouldn't i be?

And just a little update on the situation. The PTIs are training Alpha and Bravo company tough again, while Charlie is still given special treatment. However, my platoon has complained to our Platoon Commander, and he spoke to the PTI. So the PTIs give us special tough training when he trains us as a platoon, but not as a company.

Yeah. I'm proud of my platoon.
