Today i can say with great pride that i can say that two of my greatest friends have become baptised members of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

Wait a minute... isn't that a cult? That doesn't believe in the bible, but in Ellen G White? A church with believes they are the only ones to be saved, thus calling themselves the remnant church? Don't they believe that they are superior to every other church?

Nah. We believe in the Bible, and nothing else. We believe that people who don't go to the Adventist church will be saved, that's up to God, not us. We are the Remnant church, not because we're the only ones to be saved, but the ones with the Truth. Doesn't every church believe THEY have the truth anyway? Else why would there be so many denominations? And by no means are we superior to other churches, deh, there are some churches that are more passionate than us.

So, confirming that we are not a cult, Edwin and Brian, its been an honour being your friend and youth leader. You two have taught me so much, i'm forever grateful you have come into our church.

Of course, being Edwin and Brian, its not possible to have a 'normal' baptism. While most baptisms are quiet, solemn occasions, i believe Edwin and Brian made it what it's supposed to be, a celebration of two people dedicating their lives to God, showing the world they're not ashamed to be called Christians, Seventh-Day Adventist Christians. I have never in my life seen two people more happy to be seen in their baptismal gowns. I have never seen two people smile more on stage while being baptised. Usually the people are looking at the ground. They're happy to be Christians, and it showed on their faces. I'm proud of you two!

In the words of Jimmy...

Eternity, Take it, ITS YOURS!!!!!
