A lot of attention has been focused on Shankar(who was shankared a few months back) lately. But in the newspapers today, for the first time, the focus is on the Shankar's victim, the woman who shankared him. Apparently, she is having a lot of difficulty. I don't know her name, cos either i missed it in the news or she is still 'protected' as a victim. But she's not very protected, cos most people know who she is. in her office, her colleagues, especially the men, make lots of snide jokes about her. They go out of their way not to touch her at all. taxi drivers, uncles and strangers all seem to be on Shankar's side. They all condemn her, insult her, make remarks in her presence. Poor woman. Seriously. I'm not kidding. She doesn't deserve all this. Although i don't agree with one thing : she says she did not choose to be drunk. If you drink, you gonna get drunk. No doubts about it.
