Singapore S-League clubs are outta money. Some are gonna drop out. Sigh. The poor, poor state of Singapore soccer. Just in case some of you are thinking otherwise, I do support Singapore soccer. I support Tampines Rovers. S-League CEO Chan King Fook said :

"If everybody — the players, the officials, the government, the media and the sponsors — put their heart into making the S-League work, there will be light at the end of the tunnel"

And this is so true. If the government really supported soccer, they would put a lot more money into it. If the sponsors really believed in singapore soccer, they wouldn't mind sponsoring. Look at the EPL. There are clubs with debts that run into hundreds of millions. They're still there. I really hope the clubs don't drop out. Singapore soccer will be even more sad then. They just need our support. I'll be going down to the tampines stadium to catch a match during my holidays, and maybe buy myself a jersey.
